Beatrice N. (Muckenstorm) Winters, 95, of Vincennes, IN passed away Monday evening February 22, 2010 in Gentle Care Nursing Home. She was born February 20, 1915 in Vincennes to the late Joseph and Mary (Jones) Muckenstorm. She was a homemaker and for most of her life, she lived in Indianapolis and was a member of the First Baptist Church there, returning to Vincennes 15 years ago. Her husband, Pat Winters, preceded her in death on January 2, 2005. She was also preceded in death by 5 sisters, Cecil Lux, Katherine Boyll, Mary Staley, Isabelle Summers and Dorothy Cox and 2 brothers, Robert and Joseph Muckenstorm.

Beatrice is survived by 3 nieces, Marsha (husband, Steve) Miller of Vincennes, Mary Long and Colleen Sterchi both of Terre Haute and a nephew Jim Boyll of Lapel, IN.

Funeral services to celebrate Beatrice’s life will be held on Friday February 26, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. in Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home 505 Main Street Vincennes, IN. Following the service, she will be laid to rest next to her husband in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit and share memories with the family on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the service time at the funeral home
